Job Description
The OTR CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting general freight and refrigerated goods across national, interstate, and regional routes. This role requires expertise in long-haul driving with a focus on safety, time management, and customer service, while performing basic preventive equipment maintenance and adhering to flexible and variable work hours.
Responsibilities
- Execute long-haul and regional driving assignments
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Handle cargo loading, securing, and unloading safely
- Plan efficient routes covering cross-country and interstate travel
- Maintain accurate logbooks and compliance with safety regulations
- Manage fuel usage and optimize consumption
- Facilitate clear communication and interaction with customers
- Ensure timely deliveries through effective time management
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A License
- Experience in commercial driving and vehicle inspection
- Proficiency in route planning and logistics coordination
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments
- Must be able to pass Drug screen
- No moving violations
- No DUI/DWI
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of truck driving experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
