Under the direction of the Construction Supervisor III, the nonsupervisory Construction Supervisor I position in the Construction Inspection and Management Branch performs difficult work involved in the making of continuous inspections, supervision, and coordination of contract work for buildings and facilities under construction or alteration. This position's work area covers the following counties: Inyo, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. This position may require travel. Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies. This is a re-advertisement. If you have previously applied, you may still be considered, and there is no need to reapply.
