Information Assurance Analyst

Location Suffolk, VA / Onsite Program Overview Information Assurance Analyst to support a federal program focused on information assurance. The role operates in an onsite environment and is responsible for analyzing information assurance-related technical problems and providing recommendations and technical support to meet network security requirements. The position requires experience supporting Navy IA and cybersecurity functions in a mission-driven environment. Support the Domain Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorizations (A&A) task order by performing information assurance analysis and supporting security authorization activities. Key Details Location: Onsite, 5 days per week in Suffolk, VA Clearance: TS/SCI clearance required (current SSBI within the five-year scope) Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week Responsibilities Analyze general information assurance-related technical problems and provide recommendations and technical support. Assess and support implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements. Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle. Perform duties associated with development and review of RMF packages. Support cyber-security assessments and investigations. Assist in the management of eMASS to meet DoW and DoN A&A requirements. Perform Package Submitting Office level review and validation of RMF packages as required for Security Authorization Package level review. Apply best business practices across NAVIFOR accreditation packages to ensure uniformity and the capability to capture performance metrics. Conduct research and analysis and provide recommendations in support of network security, risk, and compliance policy and implementation guidance. Assist in providing an efficient and repeatable process for all four of the DoW IT Types (IS, Platform IT, IT Services, IT Products) to reduce package rework. Collaborate with US Fleet Forces Command, OPNAV, Navy Authorization Office (NAO), and Security Control Assessor (SCA) on RMF package products and status. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. At least one-year relevant experience performing Navy IA or cybersecurity functions. Must have active TS/SCI clearance (current SSBI within the five-year scope). Must be able to work onsite 5 days/week in Suffolk, VA. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and leadership briefings. Compensation Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
