Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Deliver nursing care across a 40-bed unit in alignment with facility protocols and standards
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using MEDHOST EMR
• Adhere to unit-specific dress code requirements (Royal Blue scrubs)
• Manage patient care responsibilities without call, floating, or mandatory 48-hour shift obligations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid for the state of Texas)
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Medical Surgical experience required
• Immunization titers must be in hand at time of submission
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR system
