TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Portland, Maine, 04102!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac Cath, Angiograms, and Interventional Radiology cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes. Ability to administer sedation and recover sedation patients. Experience in arterial access recovery. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team. Description: Immediate start needed. Manager interviews to be conducted. The facility contains 70 licensed beds with 5 bays and 1 procedure room. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases discussed during the interview. A registered nurse supervisor will oversee the unit. Charting system includes Cerner and Pyxis. No floating requirement. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation once per month. Request time off must receive manager approval. On-call requirement includes 1 night per week from 4 PM to 6 PM and rotating weekends. Holiday expectations will be discussed during the interview. Scrub colors for procedures will be provided.
