Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required License: Current, valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Must-Have: 3 years of operating room nursing experience Epic experience preferred Description: Years of experience required: 3 Epic experience required: Yes First-timers travelers accepted with 3 years of experience Weekend requirements: Required Certifications required: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Skills required include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy Anterior cervical fusion Arthroscopy Cholecystectomy Colon resection Craniotomy Laminectomy/discectomy Mastectomy Prostatectomy Spinal Fusion Total joint replacement Trauma experience required Call required: 2 weeknights every 6 weeks, and one weekend Saturday and Sunday Special procedures include: Ortho trauma Craniotomy Trauma Trauma Level II experiences are necessary Clinical floating within scope to meet facility needs is expected Local candidates not accepted; 75-mile radius rule in effect COVID-19 vaccine not required Flu vaccine required with only medical/religious exemptions allowed Two references from a position held in the last year are needed Zero 30+ day employment gaps required One manager reference is needed from a position held in the last year Epic charting experience is strongly preferred FOS requires 7 years of work history, including non-clinical roles and schooling The area of study and institution details are required for all degrees earned Any candidate who cancels the assignment with less than 14 days' notice will be entered as a DNR.
