Job Overview

Tekberry is seeking a detail-oriented A&T Technician (Assembly & Test Technician) to support manufacturing operations for our client, a global leader in aerospace and precision motion control technologies. This role performs a wide variety of assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and process support tasks on production, development, prototype, qualification, and repair hardware within a team-based manufacturing environment.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering teams, and contributing to both production and development programs.

Responsibilities

Within the framework of a team-based organization, perform various hydraulic assembly, electrical component assembly, test and process based operations on complex hydraulic components, assemblies and systems supporting new production and repair and overhaul activity.

• Assembly activity utilizes a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging and torque mechanisms to obtain desired build requirements.
• Work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and provide detailed written communication defining performance results and/or situational circumstances.
• Test operations include setting up and performing operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands.
• Requires the use of hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools to obtain desired performance results.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardware condition to provide recommended rework instruction and configuration changes to achieve desired results.
  
  
  
  

Production Administration:




Performs the day to day administrative functions to support overall operations.

Commitment and desire to be accountable for his/her job performance. The ability to volunteer, willingness to learn, display a positive attitude, set a good example and positively contribute to the teaming environment is essential.

Other: May be required to travel to customer facilities, or other Moog locations, to service or support Moog hardware. May be required to work off-shift hours for short periods of time to accommodate customer delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or formal training equivalency with 5 years related experience in a related technical field or 3 years of directly related experience.
