Position Overview:
RLS is seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman to join our Frederick team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, hands-on landscaping experience, and the ability to manage projects and crews efficiently. The Landscaping Foreman will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and lead landscaping crews on residential and commercial projects.
- Plan daily work schedules and allocate tasks effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.
- Communicate with clients to address questions, concerns, and project updates.
- Inspect and maintain landscaping equipment, tools, and vehicles.
- Assist with estimating labor and materials for projects.
- Report progress and issues to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on landscaping experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, turf management, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and general landscaping practices.
- Ability to read plans, execute projects efficiently, and troubleshoot on-site issues.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
