Where: Port Manatee, FL (Onsite) | Type: Contract (6 months)

Industry: Energy / LNG / Industrial Manufacturing | Compensation: $18–20/hr W2 | Schedule: TBD | Apply by: 09/30/2026

Why this role matters

Every safe entry starts with a vigilant attendant. You’ll be the dedicated lookout at a single entry point, protecting ISC teams by controlling access, tracking entrants, and maintaining constant situational awareness. Your focus: zero distractions, complete documentation, rapid emergency response.

What you will do

Control access: confirm authorization, communicate with each entrant, and log sign-in/sign-out.
Understand hazards in the space and surrounding work that may impact conditions.
Maintain watch over only one entry location; never leave post until properly relieved.
Apply the Attendant Checklist and avoid any non-watch duties.
Stop unauthorized entry attempts.
Know how atmospheric monitoring devices and ventilation systems function.
Continuously monitor operations for safety and compliance.
Complete all required safety paperwork accurately.
Alert entrants/supervisors at the first sign of danger and call for rescue if needed.
Promote safe, compliant confined space practices within the Integrated Supply Chain.

Must-have qualifications

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Strong safety mindset; effective team collaborator.
Organized, detail-focused, and consistent.
Clear English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
Ability to observe entrants and maintain clear communication.
Knowledge of confined space hazards and nearby activities.

Nice to have

Previous Hole Watch/Confined Space Attendant experience.
Background monitoring confined space operations.
Hands-on familiarity with atmospheric monitoring equipment.
Understanding of ventilation equipment.
Training or experience with emergency/rescue procedures.
Comfort completing safety documentation and checklists.
