About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Business Development to lead the growth and referral development strategy in the healthcare IT sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing regional strategies to expand the professional referral network, with a focus on identifying and engaging the highest-value partner segments. This role involves team leadership, including the management and development of business development teams, and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary training and operational infrastructure to perform at a high level. The Head of Business Development will also be instrumental in coaching, field execution, and in maintaining a strong external presence to effectively communicate the company's distinctive value proposition. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably in professional services, healthcare, or a similar relationship-intensive environment. The role requires a candidate who is adept at managing multi-state teams, is comfortable with accountability for performance metrics, and can translate strategic goals into operational systems. A strong external presence and the ability to build and lead a team that reflects that presence are essential. The Head of Business Development will be at the forefront of the company's mission to serve as a trusted healthcare quarterback, bridging the gap between families and a fragmented system of providers, facilities, and services.
