DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II)

This role is part of our Forward Slope (FSI) division, which focuses on C2, engineering, cyber, and international programs. FSI integrates complex systems, transforms geospatial and operational data into clear insights, and supports naval, joint, and allied missions with technical rigor and global perspective. Accelint is seeking an enthusiastic and talented DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the U.S. Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This role is for folks who like being close to the work—building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different. Candidates must have strong experience in Kubernetes. We work in small-to-mid size, diverse teams with clear ownership of tasking. Engineers are trusted in solving problems and aren’t waiting for permission to execute. U.S. Navy warfighters need your help to rapidly deliver cutting edge software solutions to the fleet for planning and executing missions for carrier strike groups conducting operations around the world. Mission planners need to collaborate in order plan for anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarm information gain, and a wide range of other mission areas. Duties and Responsibilities Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks Required Qualifications Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire 3+ years of demonstrated experience with CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build) Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field Demonstrated experience with cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure) Experience with Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) Clearance Requirements Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
