This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.In the role of Digital Design Specialist, we'll count on you to: Collaborate with project engineers and designers to evaluate, define, and review customer objectives within the project design, maintaining technical competency in the software identified for Digital Delivery.Define and develop complete BIM project related construction documents to include all design documents (SD, DD, CD) to help show design intent, and project specifications.Support the resolution of client BIM comments across all Construction Administration (CA) activities.Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and clients to develop functional requirements for modeling system designs and other project related requirements.Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new emerging design tools.Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output for that disciplineAccurately model the BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using the current 3D softwarePrepare detailed drawings, layouts, diagrams, and schedules within the project scope, design schedule, and budget, using the current 3D softwareMaintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheetsAssist in monitoring, improving, and maintaining company standardsCoordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and the 3D Coordination processAssist or execute any additional Digital Delivery requirements identified on the projectPreferred Qualifications:Have general engineering knowledge of either telecommunication (Horizontal/Backbone cabling and pathways) or physical electronic security systems (access control, video management system, CCTV, intrusion detection).Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureSuperior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essentialDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical supportCommitted to quality, improvement, and HDRAbility to handle multiple assignmentsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a mustExcellent leadership and organization skills#LI-SG4QualificationsRequired QualificationsTechnical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools Experience with 3D Coordination tools Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
