Please click here to learn more about our locations.Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Radiology Technologist at The Shriners Hospital for Children performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, on pediatric patients to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires compassion, precision, and adherence to radiation safety protocols within a child-friendly healthcare environment. Tuesday, Thursday- 10:30am-6:00pm and Wednesday, Friday- 9:00am-4:30pm.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced settingMaintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfactionResponsible for a correctively positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is producedWorks closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injuryDemonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work-related eventsMaintains on going- plan for personal growth and self-developmentRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDGraduate of an accredited Radiology programAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)Basic Life Support (BLS)Current State LicensePreferred Qualifications1 year experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiologyCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Shriners Hospital for Children
