EHS Lead Coordinator

Summary:The EHS Lead Coordinator supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety programs across the organization. This role is responsible for day-to-day safety coordination, training, and compliance activities, while also serving as a lead resource on the floor to reinforce a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support the daily execution of EHS programs, policies, and procedures across all departmentsConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; track and follow up on corrective actionsAct as a floor presence, reinforcing safe behaviors and addressing safety concerns in real timeAssist in maintaining OSHA logs, incident reports, and safety documentationIdentify safety risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement through data and observationsSupport root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and near-missesPartner with the Operations to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)Promote a continuous improvement mindset by encouraging employee feedback and participationFacilitate safety training sessions, including onboarding and refresher trainingEnsure employees understand and follow proper PPE and safety protocolsServe as a go-to resource for employees with safety questions or concernsHelp drive engagement through safety meetings, toolbox talks, and committee participationAssist with incident investigations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reportingEnsure compliance with OSHA, state (NJ), and company safety requirementsSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and assisting during walkthroughsSupport Workers’ Compensation case management, including reporting, documentation, and coordination with medical providers and internal teamsPartner with Operations and HR to align safety initiatives with business needsReinforce accountability by working with supervisors to address safety gapsMonitor compliance with safety procedures and escalate issues as neededJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5 years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environmentsWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance requirementsExperience supporting audits and safety programsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
