Government Travel Consultant

Responsible for managing travel arrangements for government clients, the full-time Government Travel Consultant will utilize a GDS system to book domestic and complex international itineraries while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with federal travel regulations. Key responsibilities: Answer client inquiries and manage travel bookings through Sabre, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Communicate with airlines regarding flight changes and provide updates to clients while adhering to company policies Participate in ongoing training to enhance industry knowledge and maintain service excellence Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required At least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel, specifically for government clients Proficiency in using a GDS system, with Sabre experience required Strong knowledge of federal travel regulations, including the Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement Ability to pass a government clearance process and background checks, with U.S. citizenship required
