Job Description:

- Be part of a team that provides holistic care to customers and families.
- Focus on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions in various service areas.
- Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults throughout their life cycle.
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice, including:
- Assessment
- Nursing diagnosis
- Outcome identification
- Planning
- Implementation
- Evaluation
- Develop and revise customer care plans, coordinating care among disciplines.
- Delegate activities to other customer care providers appropriately.
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
- Enhance practice standards and the environment of care.
- Deliver remarkable customer care with personal leadership qualities and skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Flexibility to float to other ICU units (S5 TNICU, S6 MICU, S7 MICU) and M/S units based on staffing needs.
- Opportunities for growth and development in a supportive environment.

Requirements:

- 1+ Years of Experience - [Required]
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (AHA or ARC) - [Required]
- Experience with Fresh Open Heart Surgery Patients - [Preferred]
- Interpretation of Cardiac Rhythms - [Preferred]
- Experience with Impella and Balloon Pumps - [Preferred]
- Adult and Geriatric Population Experience - [Required]
- Epic Experience - [Required]
- Work history and skills checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty - [Required]
- 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed - [Required]
