Pediatric Physical Therapist

Overview RISE Pediatric Therapies is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child e2 e2 a s strengths, and to enhance and promote the child e2 e2 a s growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment. Responsibilities Provide evaluations, assessments, and ongoing therapy for children birth to three years of age. Work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary core team to provide screenings, assessments, planning, and ongoing services in collaboration with the child2 e2 a s family, medical providers and other community representatives. Participate in meetings such as Core Team meetings, one-on-one family sessions, and Individual Family Service Plan meetings. Deliver services in natural environments (typically home, daycare, park, etc.) and in the context of the family2 e2 a s routines and activities to ensure information is meaningful and directly relevant to supporting the child. Maintain a flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed for service provision to families and to travel for meetings, training, and service delivery in and around the Phoenix and/or east valley cities. Qualifications Master2 e2 a s Degree in Physical Therapy Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required In-home and clinical setting physical therapy experience required; pediatric experience is preferred Completion of the AzEIP standards of practice for Early Interventionists within three years of a start date; demonstrable knowledge of AzEIP Policies and Procedures and the Team Based Model Meet all prescribed professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as a Physical Therapist, including applicable licensure Candidates must pass background clearance Other Information Important notes on continuing education: If employed as a licensed, registered, and certified professional Physical Therapist, the practitioner shall complete the continuing education units required to maintain professional credentialing.
