As a Security Officer Patrol Deterrence in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior according to site guidelines.
- Support order at the location by observing daily operations, assisting with directional inquiries, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
