Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $35.00/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Full-Time

Location: Henderson, NV

Job Summary:

LaborMax Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing and distribution facility. This role is responsible for keeping equipment and facilities running safely and reliably through preventative and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
• Maintain plant assets and mechanical systems to minimize downtime
• Follow technical drawings, construction plans, and detailed instructions
• Operate hand tools, forklifts, JLGs, and other plant machinery safely
• Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and industry standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of general maintenance experience
• Must read, write, and understand English
• Able to work in varying climates (hot/cold, dry/humid)
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Skills:

• Electrical - PLC, HMI, instrumentation, control systems
• Mechanical - forklift repairs, boilers, water treatment
• Rotating equipment - pumps, compressors
• Pipe fitting (steel, PVC) & welding
• Chemical/petro-chemical manufacturing experience a plus
