Purpose: We are seeking a Receiving Associate to join our growing team! As the Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt of material delivered to VB Cosmetics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspects packing list of delivered material for damage, proper count, and documentation.
• May reject defective material before accepting from delivery drivers where appropriate.
• Communicates efficiently regarding variances between purchase orders and actual deliveries.

• Organizes distribution of materials throughout the facility.
• Safely operates forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

• Accurately performs various transactions in the Company’s ERP system (SYSPRO) and Unipoint (QMS), including receipts and transfers. 

• Take inventory, maintain storage area, organize and place stock on shelves. Ensure the area is clean and secure at all times.

• Turn in all paperwork, including packing slips from VMI’s (Vendor Managed Inventory) to Accounts Payable daily.
• Comply with cGMP procedures.
• Perform other tasks or projects assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of prior Production, Receiving, or Inventory Control experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• DOT certified for receiving hazardous materials.
• Must be experienced in safely operating a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Capable of bending, lifting, and pushing boxes up to 50 Lbs.
• Follows all safety procedures, practices, and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Possesses computer skills and demonstrates the ability to learn specific programs or transactions. 
• Must be able to count accurately and perform basic math calculations.
• Hard-working, independent multi-tasker who sets the highest professional example in daily duties 
• Must be reliable and detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Must have good attendance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Capable of communicating and collaborating with members at various levels within the Organization
• Capable of reading and comprehending documents in English
