Travel ECMO Specialist RN - $2,906 per week

Reliant Staffing Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ECMO ICU for a travel nursing job in Greenville, South Carolina.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour night shifts)
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (subject to change based on need)
- Float Requirement: Must float between CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) and PICU (Pediatric ICU)
- Patient Population: Both pediatric and adult patients
- Required Experience:
- Pediatric and adult ECMO experience (ECMO Specialist)
- Minimum one year of EPIC (EMR) experience
- ICU experience as an RN or RT (Respiratory Therapist)
- Patient Diagnoses:
- Post cardiac surgery
- Cardiogenic shock
- Traumatic injury
- ARDS/respiratory failure
- Other acute critical illnesses requiring ECMO support
- Special Procedures:
- Manage ECMO device during bedside cannulation and cannula repositioning
- Special Equipment:
- Cardiohelp ECMO console
- Centrimag ECMO console
- Cardio Quip heater-cooler unit
- Glucometer (point-of-care testing)
- Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Active SC RN license
- ECMO specialty device course and required CMEs for proficiency
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with ICU RN and RT teams for device management
- Follow ECMO order sets and provider team instructions
- Care for both pediatric and adult patients needing critical ECMO support in CVICU and PICU settings
