AssemblerJoin our team to work on assembling small parts for elevator doors, walls, and other components. If you possess basic assembly experience or a mechanical inclination, this role is perfect for you. You will also be involved in packing parts for shipment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, written and oral instructions.Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.Maintain all required records and documents.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand tools.Basic blueprint reading skills.Mechanical assembly experience.Ability to read a tape measure.Mechanically inclined.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in picking, packing, and kitting.Familiarity with power tools.Electrical assembly knowledge.Why Work Here?This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for three pay increases in your first year. Available shifts include 1st shift from 6am-2pm and 2nd shift from 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
