Coronary Regional Sales Director in Minneapolis

Abbott seeks a Coronary Regional Sales Director based in Minneapolis to lead sales efforts for its vascular medical device portfolio across a defined region. This field-based role manages a team of account managers and clinical specialists while driving revenue growth and market share for coronary and related products.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth and achieve sales targets across coronary portfolio including DES, atherectomy, and PCIO products
- Lead, coach, manage and conduct performance reviews for Account Managers, Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers
- Develop commercial sales strategies aligned with marketing plans and negotiate contracts with hospital customers
- Manage forecasting, expense planning, reporting and adherence to company sales systems and policies
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity and measure effectiveness of sales and marketing programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience combination
- 5-7+ years of related work experience
- 50% travel capability within assigned region
- Sales management experience in medical device industry preferred
- Strong team leadership, coaching and performance management skills
- Knowledge of hospital contracting and stakeholder engagement
Compensation: $113,300–$226,700 base
