About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray/Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: X-Ray/Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, On call 1 weekday night/week & every 4th weekend Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ARRT, ARDMS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: General x-ray and OR experience Description: Ultrasound certificate and ARRT are required. On call required for ultrasound one weekday night per week and every fourth weekend. Two ultrasound rooms available, focusing on general ultrasound only. Department handles general x-ray and ultrasound imaging. Common types of imaging/studies performed include adults and pediatrics, GI Fluoro, and Dexa. Experience with EMR: EPIC and PACS: McKesson is preferred. Equipment used includes Siemens devices. A supervisor is available on each shift. Weekend and holiday requirements apply. Candidates must not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the defined health systems within the past year. Requests for time off must be provided upfront, and additional requests will not be approved after submissions. The facility can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
