Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver direct nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission; Iowa RN license required (or willingness to obtain upon placement)
• Minimum experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing
• Some oncology experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities
• Valid driver's license
