Housekeeping Supervisor

Description The hotel housekeeping supervisor coordinates and inspects daily cleaning operations. They assign tasks, train staff, manage inventory, and conduct room inspections to guarantee the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role bridges the gap between frontline attendants and hotel management. Responsibilities • Staff Management: Schedule shifts, assign daily tasks to room attendants and housemen, and provide hands-on training.
• Quality Inspections: Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with strict brand and sanitation standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, submitting orders for restocking when necessary.
• Guest Services: Respond promptly and professionally to special requests (e.g., extra towels, pillows) and resolve guest complaints.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Update the front desk on room statuses and submit work orders to the maintenance team for any room defects or repairs.
• Reporting: Manage lost and found, log shift notes, and complete discrepancy Qualifications • Experience: 1 to 3 years in hotel housekeeping or a related hospitality role, with proven leadership experience.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as this role requires being highly active on the floor.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting missed spots or substandard work.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
