Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic in Lima, OH

Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Lima, OH Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The selected physician will be responsible for hospital-based rounding and surgical interventions for an adult patient demographic. On average, the surgeon can expect one case per day. Required surgical procedures include: Coronary Artery Bypass: CABG, arterial revascularization (utilizing internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteries), and redo coronary revascularization. Valve Procedures: Heart valve repair and replacement, including mitral valve repair. Additional Procedures: Pericardial windows and associated emergency or routine cardiothoracic interventions. Qualifications & Credentialing To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following clinical and administrative requirements: Board Certification: Required. Licensure: Active Ohio state medical license is required. Education: Successful completion of Fellowship training is required. Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications must be confirmed at the time of name clear. Clinical Proficiency: Must be able to perform all listed cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This must be confirmed at the time of name clear. Documentation: Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred. Quality Assurance: A Self-Query National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) report pulled within 30 days of presentation is required. Availability: Must be available for the specific dates identified for this coverage. We offer the following travel and logistical support: Emergency privileging may be considered to accommodate a 30-day credentialing timeframe. Lodging reimbursement at approximately $150 per night. Reimbursement for travel at standard or economy rates. A dedicated support team including three Physician Assistants to assist with patient management and rounding.
