Hot Dog Production Manager

Processes ready to eat hot dogs, including packaging, for delivery to Costco warehouse stores in food courts and for shelf retail product.

Job duties include:

• Operating equipment controls, maintaining production line consistency, work flow, and efficiency.
• Assisting staff with quality control tests, including temperature, weight, and solid seal checks.
• Monitoring staff in their completion of tasks, and directing as needed.
• Responding to changes in the equipment of the production line as needed, solving equipment malfunctions causing production problems.
• Setting up multiple rapid pack guards and stainless steel doors covering film and tooling.
• Setting up carts and luggers needed for rework.
• Continually assuring the quality and appearance of meat products, inspecting line machine operation, and visually inspecting to ensure quality and consistency.
• Correcting product errors when necessary.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety of machinery in the work area.
• Responsible for food safety, quality, and consistency of product produced.
• Ensuring proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Assisting with department duties as necessary.
• Assisting in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
