About the Role

Arbor Associates is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Bristol. This is a second-shift position (2:00 PM - 12:00 AM) with multiple schedule options available.

Weekend availability is required - candidates must be able to work at least one weekend day per week.

What You'll Do

• Assist adults with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal support
• Provide prompting, encouragement, and hands-on support to help individuals maintain independence and quality of life
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Build meaningful, respectful relationships with the individuals you support
• Document daily activities and observations in accordance with program requirements

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Genuine desire to support adults with disabilities and promote their dignity and independence
• Comfort with personal care and ADL assistance (feeding, toileting, & bathing)
• Reliability, patience, and strong communication skills
• Ability to work at least one weekend day per week
• PMT (Physical Management Training) certification preferred
