Be part of an extraordinary life!Oakmont Gardens is recruiting for a hospitality focused Temporary Maintenance Assistant to join our team!Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant:Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.Receive service requests and respond in a timely manner.Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.Perform minor building and equipment repairs.Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English languageGood communication skills (oral and written)Good inter-department communication and teamwork skillsCapable of administering employee incentive, retention and training programsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite productsWage: $18-24 depending on experienceWilling to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pmMany roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
