The technologist will conduct the procedures according to department protocols and followed established radiation safety guidelines. The technologist provides direct patient care for all ages of patients. The technologist is to provide very good service that is to treat every patient with respect, courtesy and explain the exam to the patient. The technologist must be able to work together with others providing a positive work environment. The technologist is responsible to provide a safe environment for the patients, fellow employees and themselves.GENERAL REQUIREMENTSAdheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelinesPerforms all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organizationPerforms other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and proceduresMaintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs)Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
