Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Our Special Procedures Technologist provide healthcare services utilizing pulsed x-ray energy to assist with diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including computer processing and related techniques, to produce high-quality images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

Job Description:

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
• Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
• Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
• Recommend eligibility to obtain advanced registry within one (1) year of hire date
• Current BLS
