Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a prominent financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 08:50 AM - 04:30 PM Fri: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and/or restricted areas while following post orders and assisting with access procedures, badge verification, and customer service interactions in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements: A New York State Security Guard License is required. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. CPR Certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
