In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind the events and community initiatives that fund life-changing clinical care, raise awareness, and build deep, lasting partnerships with stakeholders throughout the Fox Valley.

As our Event and Engagement Manager, you won’t just manage logistics—you will design experiences that inspire advocacy and philanthropy. From orchestrating high-energy fundraising events like our signature annual Pop! event to managing community outreach programs, your work will directly impact thousands of children and families annually.

Position  Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of specialized donor events, receptions and VIP cultivation gatherings. Oversee invitation workflows, RSVPs, menu selection, thematic decor, program flow, and executive briefing notes to maximize donor engagement and retention.
• Organize annual or milestone donor recognition events or stewardship efforts. Manage the procurement of awards, coordinate thank-you presentations, and collaborate with data teams to ensure giving milestones are accurately tracked, celebrated, and publicized.
• Work with development team to align each event's atmosphere and messaging with specific fundraising goals and donor stewardship touchpoints.
• Source, register for, and manage the clinic's presence at local community events. Oversee booth design, coordinate staff schedules, and manage the transport of promotional materials.
• Serve as the main logistics coordinator when clinic executives, managers or clinicians are invited to speak at external panels, community forums, or media appearances. Serve as the main logistics coordinator for the Corporate Partners Program. 
• Act as the central scheduler for the clinic’s dedicated community room. Maintain a reliable digital calendar system to handle space requests from internal teams, community partners, and advocacy groups without scheduling conflicts.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to coordinate logistics for internal team member activities and events. Assist with cross-department communication by crafting engaging invitations and reminders to maximize staff participation.

Preferred Education, Experience and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree in non-profit management or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in development/fundraising event planning and management.
• Certified Meeting Planner (CMP).

• Solid understanding of basic fundraising principles.
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong and creative problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, ability to adapt to changing and/or shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated success in managing and completing complex tasks to meet fundraising goals.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality; demonstrate sound judgement and discretion.
