Facility Engineer

Facility EngineerWe are seeking a driven and technically skilled Facility Engineer to support manufacturing operations and facility systems. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient plant operations, leading capital projects, and implementing process improvements that reduce costs and increase productivity.You'll work in a collaborative, matrixed environment, partnering with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Engineering to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of facility and production systemsLead capital investment projects from concept through implementation and startupDesign, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC systems, controls, and automation solutionsDevelop and manage projects focused on productivity improvement and cost reductionCoordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors/consultantsSupport and upgrade systems including:HVAC, electrical, and fire/security systemsOil, vacuum, and manufacturing process systemsFacility expansions, consolidations, and improvementsAnalyze systems performance and identify opportunities for process re-engineeringEnsure reliable operation of critical plant infrastructure in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentProvide technical leadership and support cross-functional project teamsQualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field1–3 years of relevant maintenance or facility experienceAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferredDegree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with:PLC programming, HMIs, and industrial automationSCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus)Power systems, switchgear, and protective relayingKnowledge of manufacturing processes and systems integrationKey Skills & CompetenciesTechnical knowledge of power systems, controls, and automationAbility to lead projects and influence cross-functional teamsAnalytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvementExcellent communication, organization, and planning skillsSelf-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountabilityWork EnvironmentCombination of office and manufacturing floor settingsLarge-scale heavy manufacturing facilityMust be able to stand for extended periodsWhy Join Us?Culture: We take pride in a culture rooted in strong values, meaningful behaviors, and a deep sense of purpose.
