Production Utility Worker

Available Shifts : Night Shift- Monday- Thursday 7:55 pm to 6:00 am and 3rd Shift- Monday- Friday 11:55 pm to 8:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Inspect shaped dough units and finished products, removing any that do not meet quality standards.
• Rearrange products on conveyor belts to ensure optimal freezing and packaging.
• Package frozen and baked goods according to specifications, including placing products in bags, pans, or cases.
• Check packaging for proper seals, correct dates, and overall integrity; report any issues to the appropriate team member.
• Assist with moving and distributing supplies and products throughout the production area using carts and hand trucks.
• Support machine operation by helping load and unload materials as needed.
• Place packaged products onto skids in specified patterns for shipping or storage.
• Help train new or less experienced team members by demonstrating tasks and promoting safe, high-quality work practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, participate in regular cleaning, and follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Communicate important information to team leads and record necessary notes in production logs.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Be punctual and present for all scheduled shifts at the Rhodes production facility; overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of production experience preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English for effective workplace communication and to read written instructions.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand and assist with the operation of conveyors and packaging equipment.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions and solve routine problems.
• Comfortable using basic computer equipment, touch screens, and tablets to enter and access production data.
• Willingness to participate in company culture and process improvement initiatives.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending, twisting, and reaching as required.

Compensation

$24.29 per hour starting pay, increasing to $25.40 per hour after 90 days
