Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Registered Nurse in Auburn, Washington. This position involves providing specialized mental health care within a dedicated psychiatric unit, supporting patients with behavioral health needs and complex comorbidities. The role requires a focus on assessment and treatment in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or MOAB certification, experience with Electronic Patient Record (EPIC) system preferred, at least 2 years of total clinical experience including 1 year in behavioral health and 1 year in acute or long-term care settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult psychiatric or adolescent psychiatric units, familiarity with adult psych or teen psych floating, and ability to work without offensive images or words in scrub attire.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly.
• Additional Information: The facility has a total of 131 beds, including 26 gero-psych beds, and is a Level III trauma center. The program is dedicated to mental health services, supporting complex patient populations with co-morbidities and requiring advanced assessment skills.
