Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Rockland, Massachusetts. Start date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour days Shift: 8‑hour days Employment type: Travel Specialty: Physical Therapist, Discipline: Therapy Requirements Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with completion of the NPTEx and graduation from an accredited school. Minimum one year of clinical experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively pursuing licensure. Current CPR certification. Other client‑specific requirements will be communicated by the facility. Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, which includes providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician. The PT must set realistic and achievable goals, document and record the patient’s condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method. Additional duties include developing a plan of care for each patient, providing skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders, assessing patient needs, planning for, evaluating and modifying care to meet therapy goals, and collaborating with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
