Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while assisting with access control procedures, visitor screening processes, and direction of foot traffic in busy medical environments.
- Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, observed policy violations, and/or potential hazards, while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter inappropriate behavior.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
