The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a positive, energetic, and experienced Youth Development Site Director to lead our before- and after-school child care program at the NEW Deep Creek Elementary School in Moseley. This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is excited to help children grow, learn, and feel supported every day.What You'll DoAs the Youth Development Center Director, you'll play a vital role in shaping high-quality programming and building strong relationships with children, families, staff, and school partners. Your responsibilities will include:Designing, planning, and implementing engaging, age-appropriate developmental programsOverseeing day-to-day operations of the child care centerSupervising and mentoring on-site staffCreating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for school-age childrenBuilding strong relationships with children and families and serving as a key point of communicationCollaborating with school officials and YMCA leadershipEnsuring compliance with Virginia DOE licensing requirements and YMCA quality standardsManaging site safety, equipment, and facilitiesAttending and leading required child care trainingsSupporting program administration, budgeting, and staffing needsWhat You BringWe're looking for a confident, compassionate leader who is ready to make a difference.
