Travel Pediatric OR Registered Nurse - $1,954 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel RN specializing in operating room (OR) nursing for an immediate opening in Charleston, WV. Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities include: Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients, providing pre‑ and post‑surgery care and patient education. Circulate within the operating suite (outside the sterile field) to prepare instruments, monitor the patient, and respond to complications. Scrub and prepare operating instruments within the sterile field. Provide basic bedside care, administer medication, and report adverse reactions. Serve as a communication liaison between patients’ families and the operating team. Ensure the correct procedure is performed on the correct patient. Initiate the patient education plan as prescribed by the physician. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20–50 pounds; potential hazards from chemicals or infections in the OR environment. Requirements: BLS certification and at least 2 years of recent acute care experience (circulating or scrub nurse, and/or RN first assistant).
