We are seeking an experienced Property Management Bookkeeper to join our team in a small office environment. This is a full-time position of 40 hours a week, with the potential for overtime. Additional hours will be required during tax season and around extension due dates in the Fall. We are looking for a candidate that is looking to grow with the business.

Responsibilities:

• Daily bookkeeping and reporting with AppFolio and QuickBooks
• Manage daily AP/AR functions, including high-volume AP invoice entry
• Assist with AR follow-up and routine bookkeeping activities
• Review manual adjustments to tenant accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other financial records
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly
• Collaborate with property management, finance, and leasing teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in property accounting systems
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Setting up tenant accounts and managing rent invoicing
• Coordinating collections, billbacks, and security deposit transactions
• Collaborating closely with property management teams
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years QuickBooks and AppFolio Experience are required.
• Advanced knowledge/skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs are required.
• Great communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• 1 -5 years of bookkeeping experience is preferred.
