Point Design Group is seeking a motivated Municipal / Environmental Engineer to join our growing team.

This position will support a variety of municipal infrastructure and environmental projects for public and private clients throughout the region.

The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal engineering, environmental engineering, or related infrastructure design and be interested in working on projects that directly improve the communities we serve. P.E. registration is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and assist with municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway improvements.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Assist with environmental permitting, compliance, and regulatory coordination.
• Perform engineering calculations, field investigations, and site assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
• Support projects through planning, design, bidding, and construction.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
• Relevant engineering experience preferred.
• P.E. registration preferred, but not required.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater, stormwater, environmental permitting, or related areas is a plus.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
