Take the lead in driving the financial performance of a dynamic business unit. As Controller, you’ll play a key role in financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, project cost management, internal controls, and business planning while partnering directly with senior leadership. This is an opportunity to bring your accounting expertise to a leadership role where your financial insight, business perspective, and recommendations directly influence decision-making and performance. ON-SITE POSITION WORKING IN SAN ANTONIO— NO REMOTE OR HYBRID OPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead multi-company consolidations, month-end close, and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic decisions. Oversee project costs and budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities to improve results. Strengthen SOX internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems. Manage financial relationships involving cash flow, credit facilities, and loan covenants. Deliver meaningful financial analysis and recommendations that help leadership make informed business decisions. Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and financial visibility. Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to three accounting professionals. Take ownership of special projects and initiatives that support business growth and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA required. 10+ years of US GAAP accounting experience. Strong industry experience in power generation, renewable energy, or manufacturing highly preferred. Project cost management and project accounting experience highly preferred. Background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting consolidations, and SOX controls. Strong Excel and Oracle experience. Previous accounting leadership or management experience. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability and willingness to work onsite every day; remote and hybrid work are not available for this position.
