This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, collegial hospital medicine program within a physician friendly environment supported bystrong systemresources. Position Details Provide comprehensive medical care to diverse population of critically ill adult patients, including overnights admissions,roundingand discharge planning Rotate amongst Admitting, A1 and Floor Coverage roles Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Respond to medical emergencies and providetimelyinterventions to stabilize patients Conducts a history and physical examination, and note dictated in our EPIC EMR system Full Time Nocturnist schedule: 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12?hour night shifts (8:00 PM -8:00 AM) Opportunity Highlights Location: St. Peters Hospital, Albany, NY- 400 bed communityhospital Closed ICU model with 24/7 in house Intensivist coverage Strong collaboration with the hospitalist team, APPs and ED, and specialty teams Supportive practice environment focused on quality and provider wellness Large employedgroup of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible inInternal Medicine or Family Medicine Eligible forNew York State medical licensure Newgradsencouraged to apply DEA eligibilityrequired Team oriented approach with a commitment to high quality patient care This opportunity is not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates Recruitment Package Base Salary:$332,800 The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
