Chemical Intern

Job Details: Job Location: CTC Global - Irvine, CA 92614, Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly, SUMMARY

The R&D Intern Lab Technician supports the R&D group with new product development and QC testing. Then intern conducts experiments, organizes data, and helps maintain instruments and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sampling of incoming raw materials
• Conducting thermal and chemical lab experiments
• Organizing data and records in Excel spreadsheets
• Maintaining a lab notebook if required
• Performing work in a quick, clean, and safe manner
• Maintaining instruments and equipment in proper working order

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• H. S. Diploma required and is attending college working toward a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related fields
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• High attention to detail
• Experience in chemistry or thermal testing a plus
• Ability to organize
• Ability to take instructions
• Ability to learn new processes and procedures
• Ability to think independently and to innovate
• Ability to work safely
• Ability to work in a group as well as independently
