Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist at 2000 Newark Granville Rd., Granville, Ohio, 43023. Work Schedule Monday-Wednesday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-2:30pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training must come from an accredited agency if there is no work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Benefits & Compensation Pay Range: $17.75–$25.92 per hour. Eligible for PST Incentive Plan quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
