Live Oak Nashville, a high-energy bar and live music venue on Music Row, is hiring Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team. We're the official Nashville bar for the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indiana University, and Penn State, and our kitchen runs a full craft bar-food menu built for speed and consistency — house-smoked bone-in wings, scratch-made dips, loaded smokin' potatoes, build-your-own craft burgers, street tacos, border grill plates, and shareable baskets.
We are currently hiring for multiple Line Cook openings.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and execute menu items to spec across all kitchen stations, including fry, grill, and prep
- Set up and break down your station before and after each shift
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in line with Tennessee Department of Health and Davidson County regulations
- Keep up with high-volume ticket times during peak hours (live music nights, game days, and weekends)
- Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly
- Take direction well and adapt to other back-of-house tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- 0-1+ years of line cook or kitchen experience (we're open to training the right person)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume bar kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- A team-first attitude — our kitchen works closely together, especially during our busiest hours
- Food handler certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
Pay & Schedule
- $18-24/hr , paid weekly via Toast Payroll, based on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x for all hours over 40/week, per FLSA
- Full-time hours available
- Schedule varies week to week based on business needs (live music, sports, and special events drive our busiest nights)
