Responsibilities Mental Health Associate Saturday/Sunday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is an 80‑bed full‑service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Benton, AR, that has been providing quality health care to the residents of Arkansas since 1985. The MHA’s role is to provide constant monitoring, care, and support to patients throughout their stay, ensuring they benefit from therapeutic programs. Compassion, calmness in escalated situations, and teamwork are essential for success in this position. Supervise patients on and off the unit, monitoring every 15 minutes and recording observations. Document patient behavior, vital signs, special treatment procedures, progressive interventions, and food intake. Create a safe therapeutic milieu for patients and the entire unit. Work closely with other MHA’s, nurses, and physicians. Communicate and report situations and patient care to appropriate personnel, and communicate respectfully to all patients. Bachelor’s preferred. Previous mental health experience preferred but not required. CPR/First Aid and Handle with Care certificates are required (offered upon hire).
