Description: 

ENG- Perform export classification and compliance activities supporting aerospace engineering data, software, and technical systems. Analyze technical information, evaluate regulatory requirements, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with EAR and ITAR regulations. Support enterprise-wide compliance initiatives, process improvements, and risk assessments while managing high-volume technical classifications.

*1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
*Must be a U.S. Citizen

#Education & Job Requirements

*Associate's degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
*Perform export classifications using the Order of Review process
*Evaluate aerospace technical data including engineering drawings, bills of materials, source code, software, and engineering systems
*Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
*Support process improvement initiatives
*Partner directly with engineers to evaluate technical data and compliance requirements
*Conduct compliance risk assessments and support corporate investigations
*Develop export classification knowledge with increasing independence
*Communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to technical stakeholders
*Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities
*Exercise sound judgment while balancing compliance requirements and business needs
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Job Duties & Functions

*Perform EAR and ITAR export classifications for technical data
*Evaluate engineering documentation to determine appropriate export classifications
*Partner with engineering teams to support compliant technical decisions
*Support compliance investigations and risk assessment activities
*Develop and improve export decision guides and internal processes
*Collaborate with Global Trade Control and Legal teams on complex compliance matters
*Maintain classification documentation and supporting records
*Build self-classifier capability with increasing independence
*Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
*Support enterprise-wide engineering compliance activities
